A very challenging year so far...

My son got arrested in March... on his 18th birthday.. He did two weeks in the ADC before we were able to get him out. That was a real roller coaster for 5 weeks until the issue was resolved in his favor on 4/16.

The next day my wife's dad passed away..

This morning I lost my job of 28 years.

I am looking at the wall (figuratively of course) for that door that is going to appear.. In the meantimne I am still kind of in shock...

I know what you are going through in ALL 3 experiences. Hang in there. Keep moving forward.Listen to the word all day in your home and in your car. Even if you are not paying attention, keep it playing. Really get closer to God and pay special attention to your dreams and visions while you sleep at night.

I know you must be in shock, Savn.  Clearly it is raining in your life.  But just like in the world, it might rain for a while, but after a time, it subsides.  But you have to watch, because after a long hard rain, even when it stops there can be floods before you see the ground again.  My 70 plus years have taught me, that with trust in God, one will see a rainbow and an ebbing of the floods if they will hold on.  May God be with you during this time of trial and grant you a level of peace as you endure this emergency.

Stand firm  in your faith.  Sometimes talking about it can bring clarity.   I am having my own  issues with my  18 year  old son. I am just at a place  where there are some things  I will stand for and some things I will not.   I Know that he was raised the right way and so my hope is that he  comes  to his senses  and becomes the person he is destined to be ( not saying that has anything  to do with your son,   I am just talking about my own  issues).

I will be praying for your situation  and for peace of mind as you  walk through  this valley.

Stay strong my brother....I guess we all go through these seasons in life (Lord knows I'm having my share), but the Lord promised that He would never leave us.

You know for some strange reason the People of God have been facing some heavy Warfare since the beginning of the year. I know I have, It's been difficult for me to find a job. I've been out of work for 8 month, it's been pretty rough financially. My grandmother passed away earlier this year, My Father In Law got evicted from his place so he's living with me now. It's like you know God is with but there's that season in your life where God has got you in the Wilderness. And that's exactly how I feel right now. It's been one thing after another. But I understand what God is going to do in my life later on will make sense of whats happening right now. When I feel like I want to give up I renew my mind with the Word of God. Amen!!
