NFL - 2015
« on: September 04, 2015, 08:14:43 AM »
Is RGIII Done?

Did the Judge get it right on Tom Brady?

Who will be the surprise team of the year?

Can the Steelers stop anybody? :)

Brady decision is a joke, but union fought it well
 (golden boy treatment me thinks)

Im done with RG even if hes not done. Our 3rd string QB looks good, which is now 2nd string

Bring RGIII to Philly, and he'd go NUTS!!

The appeal's judge did the right thing. Then again, I really don't care about deflated balls. *kanyeshrug*

The Jags will surprise.

The Steelers will be just fine. Lots of shoot-outs, though.

Is RGIII Done?  He's done in Washington as long as Gruden is the coach

Did the Judge get it right on Tom Brady?  Unfortunately, yes.  This shouldn't have even gotten this far.

Who will be the surprise team of the year?  I don't know.  I guess that's it's called a surprise. :D

Can the Steelers stop anybody? :)   As long as the opposing team scores less than the Steelers, I don't care.  The Steelers have a new identity.  It's no longer 3 yards and a cloud of dust, and then rely on the Steel Curtain.  Like Jonathan said, there will be plenty of shootouts.  Reminds me of the Jerry Glanville days.

If Minnesota does well this season, it actually wouldn't be a surprise to me.  They have put a lot of the pieces in place for this season, not the least of which is (hopefully) building on the solid play of Teddy Bridgewater.  With AP back in the fold, I think the Vikes will make a solid showing this year.

The worse thing that could've happened to RG3 was being drafted by the Redskins. He desperately needs a change of scenery and scheme. On top of being drafted to the Skins, his backup was drafted high as well....SMH. :/

Mark my words, ladies and gents, the Pats will win it all this year...... *drops the mic*  ;D

The timing of RGIII being cleared to play is suspect to me.  Couple that with the fact that he was cleared to play one day and had it reversed the next (not to mention the fact that the guy who reversed the decision suddenly resigns...)... I don't know...I'm typically not into conspiracy theories, but this all seems like a back-handed way for the new coach to undermine the owner's authority...

They doing RGIII dirty.   I mean, honestly, Kirk Cousins  outplayed him during the  the preseason.  So if it was an open QB competition then Kirk won the job.  But to not release RGIII and let him start fresh makes absolutely no sense to me.  Good thing for Washington he is not a cancer in the locker  room.  It could be a LOOOOOTTTTTTT  worse.

I can't call  the season yet.    based on game 1,  the titans looked very impressive ( until game 2) .  And the Bucs looked suspect ( until game 2).

Dallas is in trouble due to injuries.  Philly is in trouble ( even after they went 4-0 during preseason). Seattle is struggling, and even the broncos looked suspect until they finally let Peyton go back to the shotgun.   I say wait till game 4  and by then it will be easy to tell  which teams are  really in the race.
