need help w/ tuning piccolo

i just purchased a new mapex piccolo, and i cant seem to quite get that "piccolo" sound. any suggestions. i tightened all of my lugs and i still cant get the sound i am looking for

yo man, i got me a one too. the way to get that really nice tight pop is to get a single ply head. the double ply one's really seem to make it sound too muffled or thuddy. i suggest a single ply clear head if you are just looking for that tight pang tight sound. if you want a lower sound, i suggest going witha coated single ply head for a more warm sound. hope this helps....

leave bottom head normal & den CRANKda top head :!:  :!:  :!:
