What is the best hand grip for holding drum sticks, is there a grip that you all have found to be more effective?

I think that from an anatomical point of view, your wrist move more naturally when playing matched grip. Now there are three forms of match grip: german, french and american. I have found that the german matched grip is most natural.

It depends on your background in drumming. I know that I am equally proficient with Matched (German/American) as well as the Traditional Grips.
I am equally proficient with both based on the fact that I participated in the marching band playing the snare drums for 8y.
Grooveregulator: Didn't you march for MDFS back in the day?

Dave's DVD is going to be biased (Traditional Grip), instead of working with Matched and Traditional, and giving the pros/cons of each.
