Top Drummers? (theres a reason behind the ?)
« on: October 19, 2006, 01:29:08 PM »
Who do you guys think are the top drummers out there or drummers you can really learn from (not chops).

The tops ones for me are Chris Dave,Terreon Gully, Dennis I don't know if I would call him the one of the top but
I love listening to him and how his drums sounds. He's a beast I don't know if I'll put him yet but he inspires me and that person
is Spanky, I like how creative he is. I love creativity I think that raises you to another level as well.

After reading previous post I would say that Vinnie and Dave Weckle and Thomas and Virgil are in and I love Buddy Rich stlye
so I'll put him in there too?

Are there any more we can call top drummers?

I love Aaron Spears and Gerald I listen to them alot but I'm looking for sumthin out of gospel someone that will make change
what I do or influence me a whole deal I will continue to listen to Aaron and Gerald and Clavin and Mike Clemmons

I want to be one of the top drummers out there in the near future and I think if I limit myself to the drummers we listen to and
and go crazy over hoping you guys know who I'm talking about  I won't

They influence me but I need more something different Chirs and the ones I think are top are different they get me thinking
and wanting to learn and push myself I want to listen to more drummers like that
