No disrespect, but do we really want information here or do we just want to discuss issues? The Bible says to avoid some questions, because all they do is start strife. Are we after information, or what?

Again, no disrespect . . . but if all these discussions are just for the sake of discussion, I'll bow out gracefully. To me, that is disrespecting the purpose of the Word.

And yes, all things DO work together for the good of those who love God, who are the called according to His Purpose. That isn't a can of worms, it's what the Bible says. NOW THIS DID NOT SAY THAT ALL THINGS ARE GOOD, it says that ALL THINGS WILL WORK TOGETHER FOR OUR GOOD. Not a can of worms at all, just Bible.

Be Blessed . . . and again, are we really looking for information, or do we just think this is fun to debate? Because the Word of God isn't for debate . . . it is for edification, instruction in righteousness, so those who want to be free can be free. But if this is just debate, then it needs to stop.

How dare you say that there has to be a Bible scripture that supports each specific action in order for it to be right or wrong. Abortion means killing an unborn child. It is one of the ten commandments that thou shalt not kill. How much simplier can God make things? I really think you need a serious evalutation by a "licensed psychiatrist ."

Now... "If I were really saved"... I would ask questions... to find ANSWERS. Note, it is easy to tell people things are against the Bible or the word...Yet, when and where can WE AS CHRISTIANS show...defined answers. Most of us cannot... we use the status quo.

T-Block: these questions I ask are... QUESTIONS my patients ask me. Now, you are against abortion, how about other things that are against the Bible... So please, understand... everybody is not on the same level and there are people out there seeking the truth...

Good Example... the Female Preacher thread... Look at how many folks have address this issue

I say that in agreeance with BBoy's statement. This has turned into a debate about the Word of God. Everyone's opinion has been said. The same people are doing a back and forth. I believe it is time to move on.

Not to be rude but they just got done doing the same thing in the "female preacher" thread, everybody was going back and forth with their thoughts and nobody wanted to read and find the answer to the question themselves. I think Greg, has answered why he ask the question and I don't think people will respond after reading his statement so the topic is over with.

I haven't read the other post, but this one was brouhght to my attention.

T-Block you are out of order. "Do unto others as you would others to do unto you." How would you like it if someone called you stupid and said you need a shrink's evaluation.

No matter what the disagreement may be, never result to name calling. Be courteous. You never know who's reading.

Ask yourself, am I impacting the life of a reader or impacting the life of a reader.

The bible says, "Thou Shall Not Kill. It doesn't matter if it's an unborn baby, or a during war. Thou Shall Not Kill. A friend of mine said to me, War is necessary sometimes. There are people who believe, Abortions are necessary sometimes. BUT GOD SAYS...NO KILLING!.
