Well Fretaio it is obvious you do not catch on well, because even that stament this a true meaning is still my opinion, because one can say that the true meaning of basketball is fundimentals in his opinion and that still will make his statement true (TO HIM NOT TO YOU) So no matter how many times you respond to this it is still going to be my opinion and thats a Fact A JACK so you might as well get over it and like i said keep it moving playboy. No brother, I did catch on to everything you posted & your examples still don't make sense.

The issue is not how many times we post back to argue this... its how we're posting. I'm sure even you would question someone if you posted a a vid of yourself playing & someone said "That was the worst video I've ever seen." with no explanation why and even if you didn't question them it wouldn't mean you weren't in the least bit hurt by it. (or won't to know what it is they didn't like so you'd know what you need to work on)

Also everything I've posted is factual based on quotes from yourself or other references. THATS FACT. Because it's tangible has been recorded & is referenced. I am still waiting for you to give factual evidence for your opinions.

Saying an opinion is a fact (to yourself) doesn't change it from being an opinion to yourself either - because even you know that you don't have the knowledge to understand it as fact. So you generalise it & that's why it becomes an opinion.

No one is denying that you cannot have an opinion but why deny others their opinions too? Especially when you can read in their posts that they have taken the time & learned the subject at hand. (See your post in reference to Sabe in the pocket thread & your 2nd post to Freddy here)

I don't have an issue with you saying that you prefer pocket playing becase I am a pocket player too. However to fully understand & learn our craft we have to be open to ALL drumming theory/knowledge & apply it. Don't waste the knowledge by disregarding or leaving it in the back of our minds, use it. Apply it.

As for saying I'm mad - I'm not. This conversation may seem heated but I am enjoying this because of the difference of opinions that we have EVEN tho we see pocket playing similarly. I remember having an opinion that is pretty much same as yours but when I got on here I realised that I had been living in a closet with that opinion so I had to let it go for the sake of my personal & drumming development.

This kind of ignorance is why the Bible says so many people are going to Hell. . .because in all of their little wisdom, people are always trying to interpret God's TRUTH as an opinion. Truth is truth. Truth is not opinion. So if you use the word "true" of course most of us are going to take that to mean the-real-deal-only-way-of-doing-things. That's what truth is. This is a GOSPEL music website. GOSPEL is the Good News of Jesus Christ's resurrection. And the Bible is the whole account of everything leading up to that and our instructions to see Him in the afterlife. And could you please watch your language on this GOSPEL website.
