I’ve noticed that Christians tend to reject things embraced by a culture….
What trips me out is that most Christian rap/Holy Hip Hop has more scripture & word foundation than the majority of the songs that we sing...
I mean it is a lot of stuff we call gospel that is not biblically sound...
Rapping is no different than anything else… like said before… in all things must be done in decency and order.
Before rap blew up… it was praise and worship music that wasn’t accepted in the church…because it sounded “ungospel-ly” now it is a staple….and has replaced devotion in most churches…
Rapping is no different than preaching… especially the preachers with great wordplay
Preachers have been “rap-singing” way before Nelly…
