1-4-5 Progression
« on: September 08, 2006, 12:23:03 AM »
I did a simple midi of the first part of Lord I lift Your Name on High in all keys. Im going to post a little more detail in the keyboard room for the keyboard players. I will add to this thread later. Most of us know the 1-4-5 progression on bass but for us beginners in its simplest form your will play the 1st, 4th, and 5th scale degrees of every major scale. In the key of C you will play C, F, and G. If you like the midi like this I will make them longer so you can practice with else I will make them short just so you can get the concept.

1-4-5
Key of C
C, F, G

Key of Db
Db, Gb, Ab

Key of D
D, G, A

Key of Eb

Key of E

Key of G

Key of Ab

Key of A
