I finally looked up the boxing champions which confirms to me that Boxing is in bad shape:

Heavyweight (unlimited)   )
WBA - Ruslan Chagaev (23-0-1)
WBC - Samuel Peter (28-1)
IBF - Wladimir Klitschko (49-3)

Cruiserweight (200 pounds
WBA - Firat Arslan (28-3-1)
WBC - David Haye (20-1)
IBF - Steve Cunningham (20-1)

Light Heavyweight (175 pounds)
WBA - Stipe Drews (32-1)
WBC - Chad Dawson (25-0)
IBF - Clinton Woods (41-3-1)

Super Middleweight (168 pounds)
WBA - Joe Calzaghe (44-0)
WBC - Joe Calzaghe (44-0)
IBF - Lucien Bute (21-0)
*Except for Kitschko*  Who?

This list looks like a who's who of nobody's to me.  Granted, I don't keep up with boxing like I once did, but I find it hard to believe that there's only one name I recognize.

And, that's the whole point. There ARE a bunch of nobodys. :-\

Or, at least, a bunch of cats about whom we couldn't care less. Well, maybe we could. ::) :-\

I Watch a lot of boxing so I have heard of some of these guys but boxing is far from it's glory days.

Joe Calzaghe is a beast, he beat Jeff Lacy like he stole from lumped his head all up.

Bad Chad can be suspect sometimes... HE ran out of gas against Tomasz Adamek and almost got put to sleep in the tenth round.

I do agree that b-hop doesn't want to see Calzaghe.
