Chopsticks & Forks (Learning Notes)
« on: December 18, 2007, 03:23:43 PM »
I just ran across something interesting in my "Piano for Dummies" book.

The pairs of black keys can be viewed as a set of chopsticks.

The trios of black keys can be viewed as forks.

Now here's the kicker...

The white key before each chopstick is a C.

The white key before each fork is an F.

C for chopstick, F for fork.

Now I have an easy way to teach kids!
