A NEW TRACK- WELCOME TUNE

What up yall this is a track i did for this church... its a welcome song that plays at the beginning of their tv broadcast...

So I wanted to see what yall thought of it before i submit it- plz give some some feedback, especially about the mix.

Thanks for the compliments, i sent the track on sunday.


Real nice Tkeys. I am feeling the "Kevin Bond-esque" brass. What are you using for your production (software, hardware??). Keep up the good work and go ahead and submit that joint.

I used a Yamaha Motif and Korg Triton for all instrumentation; Akai MPC 1000 for the "drums"; I used PreSonus FP10s for my interfaces; and Sonar 7 Producers Edition for recording/mixing/etc. If u want, i have a photo of my setup i can post...

Event TR6 monitors... they're OK... not the best, but I'm happy for now lol.

If you plan on getting other monitors, get the Yamaha NS-10. The teachers told me in school that if you can make your mix sound good on these, your mix will sound good anywhere. You know, car stereo, boom box, house stereo, crappy computer speakers etc....

BTW, nice studio, hope I can have one like that one day!
