Not all Women (and Men) can pull off wearing fur coats. If you scare the kids at church, cuz they think you a bear, you are one of them.
This is very true, and I learned that the hard way.
My mother had a "milestone" birthday last year, and my sisters and I wanted to make her birthday special. She had just had surgery, so the birthday bash we were going to plan had to be cancelled. We started tossing around ideas, and I asked my older sister about buying Mom a full-length mink coat, hat, and gloves. She and I are both very much into fur and fashion, so I knew she'd be the one to convince my other sisters it would be a good idea. I thought it'd be great since my mom has never been one to enjoy diamonds, cashmere, fur, and that kinda stuff.... she likes to keep it simple.
My sister nearly chopped my head off talking about how my mother would look like a baby bear in a fur coat!!! LOL! I hadn't thought about it until she mentioned it, but ummm.. yeah... not all women can rock fur.
