Thanks to all. As you see my playing is very simple. Almost too simple. Please pray for me that I will learn to find the time or make the time to practice. I am finding out that is definitely the key!! I need help though, mostly with fill - ins. Knowing what to do "in the meantime". I guess that was one my main reason for uploading the video maybe someone has suggestions on what I can do to help sound more full. I will post some chords as soon as I can to kind of show you what I am talking about. Thanks again. God Bless

I think you did well. You know, we ourselves are our worst critics.

One of the things you can practice is inverting your chords, and adding appregios.

Fenix, I pray that God will continue to use you. You know I did say I accept constructive criticism, but what you did, for some people I may have made them quit, but me it made me push a little harder. What you need to learn, son, is God uses everybody different. The way I play may not be what you like to hear and vice versa. I am praying much for you. God Bless

OK lemme put it in context. Please go back to my post above and scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN slowly. Stop short of where SisterT's post starts. I don't have green stars so i cannot edit my post. That was my original post.

LOLOL Its really OK. My humor tends to border on the cynical at times, and i am sure that when you saw that first sentence all you saw was red!!

Good job. I admire anyone who can play and sing, as that is something I am working towards. My only suggestion would be to learn how that play that song a different way in terms of the way you chord and jazz it up a bit. I went through the same thing (and still do). As you mentioned that you play somewhat "simple". Keep up the good work and be blessed!

Nice but for fillins i just started moving up and down the scale with the scales degree chords but remove the third and its they're great fillers. I need to get a video up now. lol.
