New progression guys. Try this:

LH/RH

B D# F# A#/ D# F# A#

D F# A/ E F# A C#

A C# E/ C# E G#

Very nice, especially when played with a pad or strings.

I've never come across something so confusing, really guys! :o

I tried several times to play around this--At 1st it seemed that Cb was going to be the key, but it failed the tests somehow..

E/Fb seemed to work, it passed other tests..
But then guess what, A/ Bbb surprised me :o it sounded like the key.
I know many might disagree, so I compiled this as proof:

 Key of A/ BbbM

Eb/Ab-Bb-Db-Eb-Gb  [Ebm11]
Ebb/ Gb-Bbb-Db-Fb  or Ebb/Bbb-Db-Fb-Gb  [EbbM9 / DM9]
Db/ Fb-Gb-Ab-Cb  or Db/Gb-Ab-Cb-Fb  or Db/ Ab-Cb-Db-Fb-Gb [Dbm11] {this is a 3}

resolves to..a 6-2-5-1
[6] Gb/Fb-Gb-(Ab)-Bbb-Db
[2] Cb/Eb-Gb-Bbb
[5] Fb/Ebb-Gb-Bbb-Cb
[1] Bbb/Cb-Db-Fb-Bbb

Now I'm really confused..

Fenix, it would help if you gave your voicings, it doesn't take much time.
You do know that there is no key of Cb or Bbb, right?

Ummm...i beg to differ about the Cb.  Bbb, it's not a key used in sheet music, but theoretically it is a key.  Now, the Cb is used and is definitely a key.  The key signature is all b's.

still doesnt excuse the Bbb major. Just call it the key of A, if thats what you're going to do. Lets not confuse the newer cats to music in to thinking theres a Bbb major or a key of Fb or E# or any other crazy stuff like that. Now there are definitely uses for Bbb as a note, but not as a key signature.

I was only kidding.  I have a strong preference for flat keys when reading mostly because the BEADGC progression of flats is so easy to remember. If you are only flatting notes, it is very simple. When you are reading music and you see a note within the key signature, you automatically flat it. Sharps aren't even a consideration.  I stumble through the keys of G and D, and the other sharp keys, I avoid except when playing by ear.

Even at that, I can only read at a fairly slow rate.

I had commented on that on several occasions in this forum, so I was just kidding about it.

Sorry I offended some cats...Ok, I admit my sins..but it's much better that the newbies hear about these names & their enquire more about them..Not so that they are intimidated, just awareness (at least that's how I expanded (& still do) on my vocab..hear about something & learn about it.
Of course when I write out progressions for people who don't want anything to do with theory, I just mix and match whatever is "easy on the eye" , eg , Db/E-Ab-B-Eb..
Of course theory gurus like T-Block will tell you immediately that you should be punished for that..still there? ;)

So can we conclude by saying that this progression is not in any particular key because a few options seem to work ?/? :-\

But like T said, that Dbmin9 chord sounds like a definate vi chord to me, which is why I'm so confused when other keys like A etc work.

Sure, that's fine.  Usually, unless the original poster knows & tells the key, it's really up to each individual to decide what key it's in then act accordingly.
