I tried to hold out until I mastered the Bereal and Urban Worship 600 DVD, but I think I'm going to have to go ahead and order. Yall got a brother stoked!

I have some raw clips of some of Mike/Jason's playing at West Angeles if anyone is interested in that type of stuff.

I like the Dvd so far. I was watching the shout on the Dvd, and I think this is better than the Jamal Soloing techniques and Its tight with different moves and all on the shout. I especially like the way he uses those diminished chords with his shout, and the move he got from the clark sisters on the shout. If I was you I would get this dvd first instead of the jamal soloing techniques, however, If you want more practice, also get the soloing technique.

I wouldn't say it's 100% better than the Mike Bereal DVD. I learned A LOT from Bereal DVD and I'm still learning from it. But I do think that Jermaine Griggs and his team at Hear and Play learn from each DVD that they produce. So the overall production quality gets better. They had a bass player on the Jonathan Powell DVD....and added an MPC on the Mike Bereal DVD. And on the Jason White DVD...he plays the bass notes without the bass player first then played it without the root w/ the bass player accompanying him.

I hope one day they produce one with multiple musicians teaching how to play in a band setting.

*Ahem* How do I say this....Ummmmm errrr ummmmm how bout making a Youtube clip demonstrating what you learned when you get time...

I got it in the mail right before I had to leave for choir rehearsal. I almost started to cancel my rehearsals yesterday! I thought I wasn't gonna get any sleep last night. I was going through disk one and was in my apartment screaming at like 11:30. I had my laptop sitting on top of my S90ES....with my board midi'd to my MKS-20. THAT JOINT IS SO SWEET YO!!!

I kind of figured it would be. Imma get it!

I watch 68% of the dvd and I can say that this is the best and I mean the best that hear and play has ever made. How he broke down Oh how I love Jesus, and the other stuff is first class. I was critical of the other dvds however this is the best they have made. I say go and buy it. My advice is to break down everything and see the versitility it. It is really worth it.
