It was cool, soulful and played on a very old looking strat that sounded real sweet. Also, factor in that everyone had the shakes due to the nature of the gathering and with the whole world watching. I'd have to check my "Fruit-of-the-looms" after playing that memorial service.
What you didn't hear much of was the female guitarist (w/PRS) in the background. She can put it down but that wasn't the time nor the place for "Rip-N-Shred".
The MJ memorial service was very well done. I grew up watching, listening and copying the J-5 moves when I played R&B back in the days.
My prayers go out to the entire Jackson family from A to Z.
