A B C D E F G Class 1 over.
Smartie pants!!!

I found a video series last night, btw. I watched part 1 and then put part 2 on to fall asleep to. I'll watch part 2 again today. And then I'm gonna have to watch all of them all over again once I get my bass.
Anyway, I like the video I watched because it's truly for beginners (like REAL beginners). So many stuff you see out there "for beginners" assumes that people have some sort of knowledge, so if you're like me and you have no knowledge at all, it doesn't work for you. But this guy, his Part 1 (the entire 7+ minute video) is just about identifying the parts of a bass. That was it. And that was what I needed.
Part 2 is about fingering and stroking and stuff.
I had started with the scales (on my app) but that wasn't a good place to start for someone who doesn't even know what the notes are. So after I get the basics down, I'll go back to the scales. I guess... Idk. This is all so preliminary since I don't even have the bass yet... but when I get it, I'll know how to hold it, what the parts are called, and how to hit the E, A, D, and G strings.
